Tasting Notes
Black garnet color. Aromas of cocoa dusted dried cherries, mixed peppercorns, chocolate taffy, ivory, and paprika with a satiny, crisp, dryish light-to-medium body and a medium-length cherry stone finish with light oak. A nice, not-too-oaky Bonarda that will be very versatile at the table.
Winemaker Notes
Bonarda from Mendoza always is quite low in alcohol and high in acidity, with a juicy character and a typical earthiness. Approachable, fresh and pleasant. Our job is just to understand and express this identity through biodynamic practices and minimal intervention winemaking.
Food Pairing Notes
Ideal with pasta, pizza and most Italian cuisine
