Tasting Notes
The juicy, aromatic and fruit-driven 2018 Inkarri Winemaker’s Selection Malbec felt like pure grape juice, with unnoticeable oak after ten months in 3,000- and 5,000-liter oak vats. It's floral, soft and approachable, clean and pure, not terribly complex but very pleasant. 20,000 bottles were filled in April 2018. The Wine Advocate
Winemaker Notes
Altamira is one of the most special terroirs in Mendoza. Its altitude, the microclimate and the gravelly calcareous soil give to Malbec a unique character: elegant, floral with a mineral texture and great complexity. As usual at our winery, our job is to understand these characteristics and express them in the wine with the least intervention possible.
Food Pairing Notes
Grilled meats and game, mature cheese.
