Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Straw green color. Fruity aromas of fresh cut grass, summer peach, and ripe papaya with a silky, lively, dry-yet-fruity light body and a smooth, captivating, medium-length lychee, diced green pepper, and passion fruit finish with no oak. A vibrant, energetic sauvignon blanc with intense, juicy flavor. Tastings.com
Winemaker Notes
This Sauvignon Blanc comes from Leyda, just 8 kilometers from the sea, out of selected lots characterized by having granite slopes with many quartz stones. Two lots are harvested on different days and each one has a different process. Whereas one lot is vinified in concrete egg, the other one is vinified in stainless steel tank. After 6 months working on the fine lees, the result is an aromatic, balanced and fresh wine.
Food Pairing Notes
Oysters, fresh crab, grilled fish, sushi & sashimi.
