2017 Koyle Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon
85% Organic Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Organic Tempranillo, 5% Organic Malbec, 5% Organic Petit Verdot.
A perfect balance between the expression and elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon and the elegance from Tempranillo, freshness from Malbec and grip from Petit Verdot.
The Gran Reserva range come from the first and the second terrace in Los Lingues Estate. The soil presents a matrix of rocks in different states of decomposition, mainly as fragmented alterites, which give the balance sought between vigour, productivity and quality. Mineral notes are expressed because of the balanced extraction through the deep roots.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Stand back for this serious cabernet that has a great tannin structure and some real depth. Still a little shy on the savory and earthy nose, but this already has a distinctive personality. Drink or hold. Recommended: Decant 30 minutes before serving James Suckling
Winemaker Notes
Handpicked grapes from selected lots are brought to the cellar for hand-sorting. In the tank, cold maceration (for aroma and flavor extraction) takes place over 5 days, followed by fermentation for over two weeks at 22 to 24oC. After this, post-fermentation maceration takes order to extract just the most rounded and silky tannins. Finally, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for fourteen months.
Food Pairing Notes
Beef, roast duck or lamb based plates.
