2015 La Joly
95% Organic Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Organic Malbec
La Joly translates to “The Pretty” and this wine certainly lives up to the name. The delicacy and the complexity of the aromas of black fruits are very similar to lace on a powerful but never overflowing structure. La joly surprise by its roundness and elegance.
A mild climate (due to the Atlantic Ocean). Lots of sunshine, and regular rain, the hillside situation and the clay-limestone soil, gravels offer the best conditions for the growth of the vines and the grapes.

Tasting Notes
Produced from a parcel of 50-year-old Cabernet Sauvignon, with a touch of Malbec, this wine is aged in large wooden barrels for two years. The organically grown grapes give a crisp purity to the wine, bringing out black currants, crisp acidity and firm tannins. The wine will age well, drink from 2021. Wine Enthusiast
